Paul Gray, Jr., currently serves as a Project Manager at the Institute for Public School Initiatives at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a national math consultant and textbook author, working with teachers in schools across Texas and 13 other states to implement best practices for inquiry-based mathematics instruction. Dr. Gray taught middle school and high school mathematics and science in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas, before serving as an education specialist at Region 4 ESC and the Director of Mathematics and Science in Pearland ISD. Dr. Gray holds a bachelor's degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, and a masters degree in mathematics education and a doctoral degree in teacher education from the University of Houston. He is currently a CAMT Board Representative for TCTM and is a former Southeast Regional Director and Past President of TCTM.
